We are seeking a B2B marketing person to oversee and execute a wide variety of marketing activities using the latest tools and techniques. The ideal candidate will be smart, hard-working and have a “can do” attitude in the face of new challenges. This is a full-time position that will split time and responsibilities between our two companies, Senturus and Opticity.

Senturus is a leading business intelligence consulting firm that has helped hundreds of companies, large and small, develop and enhance their ability to understand and gain insights from data. Senturus has a robust marketing program including webinars, tradeshows, events, sophisticated marketing automation, social media, content library and more. Senturus began in 2001 and is business partners with IBM, Tableau, Microsoft and others.

Opticity is a new company offering a web-based service that helps casinos leverage their data and enables better marketing, operations and fact-based decision making. By using Opticity to integrate data, and expose it to business users in an intuitive way, casinos avoid the need to develop and maintain a data warehouse, or purchase and support complex report development software, resulting in better outcomes and a lower total cost of ownership.

The Marketing Specialist will work with senior management and other marketing collegaues to execute marketing activities. This position is ideal for someone who already has 1-3 years of similar experience, and is capable of taking ownership of marketing programs and their results. Great project management skills and comfort with marketing automation and website interfaces are strongly desired.

Specific responsibilities will vary based on experience and ability, and may include any of the following:

• Planning and assisting presenters with webinars, including pre and post direct marketing (The Marketing Specialist will not actually present)
• Using Word Press to add and modify website content
• Using Marketo and Act-On to develop and execute email marketing campaigns
• Using various tools to report on marketing campaign performance
• Developing a public relations calendar and distributing press releases
• Various aspects of event marketing, including pre-show planning and event support
• Supporting the development of creative assets including advertising, videos, case studies, etc.
• Assisting with development of training and product documentation materials
• Assisting in the posting and tracking of social media messages.

Desired Skills and Experience
We would like to hear from candidates that possess between 1 and 3 years of relevant experience. Your experience should include the hands-on execution of related marketing activities, ideally in a B2B environment. Candidates that can demonstrate their ability to plan, execute and measure marketing activities are strongly preferred.

This position is primarily work-from-home, but will require one day per week in Cupertino, CA, occasional meetings in San Mateo, CA, and occassional travel out of state.
